James Henry Nehl
At 59 years of age James went to be with the Lord and his wife Gail. James and Gail had come home to Springfield, Missouri, a couple years ago to be with family. On February 17, 2013, he lost his fight with diabetes. James was born on February 24, 1953, in Mondovi, Wisconsin, to Francis and Verena Nehl. He was a 1971 graduate from Hillcrest High School in Springfield, MO. James had a sense of humor that was very much appreciated by everyone that knew and loved him.
James is survived by his Mother Verena (Nehl) Sapp; his brothers, Gerald Nehl of Marshfield, Missouri, Patrick Nehl and his wife Rachel of Springfield, Missouri, and his sister Diane (Nehl) McKay and her husband Rick of Saddlebrooke, Missouri; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Waiting in Heaven for James is his wife Gail, his father Francis Nehl, his grandparents George and Kate Nehl and Henry and Annabel Fedie.
A special “Thank You” to all the staff at “The Maples” and the Hospice nurses for all the care, friendship and love they so freely gave to James.
Graveside services will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, on Saturday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m.
The family asks that rather than flowers, a contribution be given for diabetes research.
