James Kenneth Morrow, age 77, passed away on April 8, 2025, at Cox Hospital in Springfield, MO due to complications of cancer, chemotherapy, and other health issues.  James was born June 24,1947, in Ainsworth, NE, to John and Kathryn (Anderson) Morrow.  James loved his family, spending time with friends and relatives, the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.  He was a genuine Nebraska Sandhills cowboy, truckdriver, and all-around good man.

James married Carol Petersen in Ord, NE on September 19, 1981.  They adopted two children in 1989.  He is survived by his wife, Carol, son, Joshua Morrow of Chippewa Falls, WI; daughter, Amber Morrow of Republic, MO; and six precious grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Martha Jean Goad of Bullhead, AZ; and Ardith (Gary) Flyr of Gardnerville, NV; sister-in-law Julie Morrow of Bridgeport, NE, and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and his brother William.

There will be a tribute for James on June 7, 2025, from 2 – 4 p.m., Wesley United Methodist Church, Rooms 32 & 33, Springfield, MO.
