James Lee Searson, 71, passed away July 5, 2015, in Springfield, MO. He was born February 6, 1944, in Albany, OR and grew up in Garnett, KS. Jim served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1987 as an Intelligence Operations Technician. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 14 years. He is survived by his wife Eleanor, sister Cora Sue Underwood, sons, Matt and Tom Searson, and daughter Christine McKnight. He leaves behind seven precious grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Jim was a member of Crossway Baptist Church. Visitation will take place at Greenlawn North Thursday at 12:30 with funeral service to follow at 1:30. He will be buried with full military honors at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
