James LeRoy Tindle, 59, of Mount Vernon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011, in Cox Medical Center South after a long illness. He was born March 31, 1952, in Springfield, Missouri, to James Harvey and Rachel Marie(Evans)Tindle.
He was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. He worked as a welder with Modine Corporation also in Jefferson City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brother, Jackie Lynn Tindle.
He is survived by his loving wife Lisa Ann Tindle; four sons, Corey Tindle, James Tindle Jr., Robert Tindle, all of Springfield, Michael Andrew West, Centertown, Missouri; three daughters, Kristy Ann Darland, Ashley Marie Jones, both of Jefferson City, Justie Nicole Tindle, Verona, Missouri; five brothers, Billy Joe Tindle, Willard, Bobby Eugene Tindle, Fair Grove, Carl Tindle, Harvey Gene Tindle, and Neil Tindle, all of Springfield; six sisters, Janice Marie Burks, Diana June Doty, Martha Jane McGinnis, Sandra Scroggins, Nancy Tindle, all of Springfield, and Karen Tindle-Newman, Dallas, Texas; and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with visitation an hour before services from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
