James Lynn Chism passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 in Cox South. He was born in Springfield Mo. on May 3, 1952. Jim graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1970. James Lynn Chism passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 in Cox South. He was born in Springfield Mo. on May 3, 1952. Jim graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1970.
Jim was proceeded in death by his father, James K. Chism; his mother, Joan Shine (Harmon); and his Brother, Roy Bill Chism.
Jim is survived by his stepfather, J.T. Shine of Springfield Mo.; two sons, Kevin Combs of Paducah Ky., and Chris Chism of Willard, Mo.; three sisters; two brothers; five grandchildren; two aunts; an uncle; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North followed by a graveside service in White Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11 also in the funeral home.
