James Ray Bryan, age 79, of Billings, MO, passed away in his home on Tuesday, April 7, 2021. He was born March 28, 1942, in Montezuma, IA, to James Bryan and Donna L. Bryan of Springfield, MO. James Ray attended Montezuma High School. James was united in marriage to Eunice L. (Roe) Bryan, of Billings, Mo, on December 28, 1982 in Ozark, MO. James enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Graceway Baptist. He spent many years owning and operating a transport service and finally retired in 2020 on September 7th.

James is preceded in death by his father, James Bryan, his paternal grandparents, Glen and Ida Bryan, and his maternal grandparents, John and Velma Newport. James is survived by his wife Eunice L. Bryan, his brothers Gary Bryan (Jean Bryan),  Russell Bryan, Steve Bryan (Joede Lyn Bryan), and Scott Bryan. His children John R. Bryan (Cathy Bryan), Vince Bryan (Maisa Bryan), Donna Evens (Danny Evens) all of Illinois, his step-children Randy Latham (Debbie Latham), and Danny Latham all of Arkansas. His grandchildren Kyle, Jamie, and Jake Evens, Vinnie, and Joshua Bryan, Lucas, and Jude Bryan, Shaun, Chris, and Stacey Latham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

James was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed by all.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Compassus at 1341 W Battlefield Suite 120, Springfield, MO 65807, or to Graceway Baptist Church at 5010 S. Farm Road 135, Springfield, MO. 65810. Visitation will be held Monday, April 12, 2021, from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Service will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 10:00 am.
