Esther Gill left a message on February 6, 2019:
Loving brother Uncle, We will miss you and we will remember your strong singing voice, and the many instruments you played. The scott boys can again play together and sing. And tell stories as only the Scotts can. We will all cherish the memory of Uncle JP telling about the battles that were fought in this area and how it was named Battlefield. He talked with such enthusiasm we felt like we were there. Rest In Peace with your dear family. Love, the Scotts; John Michael, Sharon, Julie, John Michael III, Paul, Alex, Jeffrey, Gwen, Sherie Rene, Connor, Hallie, Alyssa, Ella, and James Paul.

Please know our heavenly Father sympathizes with your grief. He pays very close attention to all of his creation, especially his beloved children. "Do not two sparrows sell for a coin of small value? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without YOUR Father’s [knowledge]. But the very hairs of YOUR head are all numbered. Therefore have no fear: YOU are worth more than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:29-31) Have hope, until the day they can live again. (Acts 24:15)
