Mrs. Janice Jo Hicks, age 83, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away on May 8, 2026, at Parkview Healthcare Facility. Janice was born to Howard Jones and Mary (Huff) Jones on November 9, 1942 in Springfield, MO. She was raised in Springfield, MO Janice was united in marriage to Michael Hicks on April 29, 1959 in Forsyth, MO.. Janice and Michael shared 67 Years years of marriage before Janice’s untimely passing on May 8, 2026. Janice was a member of the Fair Grove, MO. Church of Christ, Janice had worked for the Hortons Clothing Store in Bolivar, MO. for many years. She enjoyed Cooking, sewing and being with her family.
Janice is survived by her husband, Mike, they were blessed with two daughters: Janine Sue Sitton and her husband Kevin, Jodie McCrickard and her husband Ray, two sons: Daniel Hicks and his wife Lori, and Doug Hicks and his wife, Tonya, as well as nine grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. no visitation is planned.
