It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Janice Kay Knight, who left this world on September 16, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on October 19, 1942, in Springfield, MO, to Fred Arom and Pearl Irene (Boswell) Gann. Janice was a lifelong resident of this vibrant community.

Janice was a devoted homemaker, creating a warm and loving environment for her children. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds; she had an uncanny ability to light up a room with her compassion and gentle spirit. Family meant everything to her, and she poured her heart into being a wonderful mother, friend, and neighbor.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her children Kevin Knight, Kenneth Knight, Tawny Lancaster, Shawn Knight, Larry Knight, Michael Knight, and Heather Knight, as well as 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Join us as we celebrate Janice’s extraordinary life, cherishing the countless memories she has gifted us. We will gather to share stories, laughter, and love, just as Janice would have wanted.

Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at a private family cemetery in Doniphan, Missouri.

Janice’s spirit will forever live on in our hearts. She will be missed dearly but remembered with joy and gratitude for all that she gave to each of us.
