Janice Marie (Wright) Sallee passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at age 63 at her home on Table Rock Lake, due to breast cancer; which she battled for 2 ½ years.
Janice was born in Moberly, Missouri on September 8, 1951, to John and Lucille Wright of Salisbury, Missouri. She was one of seven children and has three living siblings; Carol Harvey, Kathy Nelson and Phil Wright.
Janice was preceded in death by her father and three siblings; Joyce, Johnnie and Phyllis.
Janice is survived by her husband, David Sallee, whom she married on June 26, 1976 and her two children, Jeff Sallee and wife Tara and Stephanie Treon and husband Michael and two granddaughters, Cora Lynn and Anna Marie Sallee.
Janice spent most of her life being a mother, teacher, singer and cook, but stayed very involved in music by singing in choirs and worship teams, teaching children’s choir, attending One and Only Reunions and recently singing to her granddaughter.
Dave and Janice moved to the Branson area in 2002, moving from West Des Moines, Iowa. Dave and Janice are members of First Baptist Church of Branson.
A Celebration Service will be held at First Baptist Church in Branson, 6:30 PM, Sunday, January 4, 2015. Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 5, 2015 at Meadville Cemetery in Meadville, MO.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 204 Norwood, N.J. 07648.
