Jared Michael Huddleston was born on August 26, 1981. On December 03, 2023, he, along with his wife Kristen, were killed when a driver under the influence hit them head on as that driver was going the wrong way on an exit road near Fort Worth, Texas.
Jared and Kristen had recently moved to Crowley, Texas and had purchased a new home. Both were excited to begin new jobs and school for Kristen.
Jared was preceded in death by his father Jerry Huddleston, his maternal grandparents Vic and Mildred DePreste, and his paternal grandmother Glenora Pike.
Missing him forever will be his mother Cathy Langguth and her husband Steve, his children Caiden, Draike and Amarah Huddleston and Kristen’s children Stacey and Aviana Maldonado.
Also surviving him are his siblings Marissa, Kain, Jensyn and Victoria Langguth, Christina Huddleston Peak, Aaron and Amy Huddleston.
He will be missed by his Aunt Nancy DePreste Dalton, cousins Angela Massing, Caitlin Dalton Hernandez and Scott Dalton, and their families.
He is survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins from the Huddleston family.
Jared served his country in the United States Marine Corps, and was deployed during the Iraq War as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. From his time in the Marine Corps, he became a part of a large group of brothers and sisters in the Corps. He was still in contact with many and met with them whenever possible. It is obvious to his family that he was loved by so many of them, and always remember he loved you too.
He graduated from Glendale High School in Springfield, Mo. and also remained friends with many high school classmates.
When you remember Jared, remember his desire to keep you laughing. He loved to be the life of any gathering, and was a lifelong Pittsburg Steelers fan.
We will miss his smile and the sound of his voice and laughter.
