Jean M. Fleming passed away Monday, August 26, 2013.
Jean was born March 18, 1928 in Shannon County near Summerville Missouri to Floyd J. and Grace Hope Miller.
She married W.C.(Bill) Fleming December 24, 1951.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill; brother Harold Miller and his wife Chloe and a brother Roland Miller.
She is survived by two daughters Marcia Bisher and husband Steve, Debi Agee and husband Bill. Three grandaughters, Michelle Bisher Modugno and husband Michael; Stephanie Bisher Phillips; and Amanda Bisher. Great-grandchildren Sam, Will, Ella, Nate, Zack, Evan, Jax and Finley.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Inez Miller; nephew Gordon Miller and wife Linda; great nephew Robert Miller and his son Austin, and a host of friends.
Jean worked for Social Security in the 1950’s. Jean and Bill owned and operated the White Mill K.C. Diner and Fleming Restaurants.
Before retiremnet, she was a bookkeeper for Jack Hamlin Insurance Co.
Our Family would like to thank Dr. Patrick Dopp, the staff of Mercy Villa and floor 4a of Mercy Hospital for the kindness and compassion shown to Mother and her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Greenlawn South Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at White Chapel Cemetery.
