Jeanne L. Spradlin, 82, of Springfield, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. She was born on September 24, 1928 in Kansas City, Kan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Spradlin, and one brother, Loren Spradlin.
She is survived by Louis W. Myres; their children and spouses, Rex and Tracy (King) Myres of Los Angeles, Calif., Curtis Myres of Springfield, Mo., Jay and Laurie (Weber) Myres of La Crescenta, Calif., and Kevin and Janice (Roper) Myres of Marysville, Ohio; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Kathi Myers and Jack Ell of El Dorado, Calif., Heather Myres of Edmond, Okla., Rex and Jennifer Myres of Rogersville, Mo., Chris and Claudia Myres of Germany, Keely Myres of Los Angeles, Calif., John Myres and Kate Myres of La Crescenta, Calif.; and two great-grandchildren, Kayla Ell and Gavin Myres. She is also survived by two brothers, Richard Elwyn Spradlin and Robert Dale Spradlin, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was a very loving mother and grandmother and was very active in animal welfare efforts.
Memorial services will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Sat., Feb. 26, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m.
