Jeffery Mahan, 47, of Springfield, left this life to meet our Lord, Savior and Creator on January 3, 2013 in Cox Medical Center South. Jeffery was born to Judith and Sam Mahan on February 22, 1965 in Springfield, Missouri. The oldest of two children, Jeffery graduated from Kickapoo High School. Jeff spent his life doing the one thing he loved to do, playing music, he was a member of Jokers Wild and Black Lake, along with several other area bands.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Mahan, and one uncle, Benny Mahan. He is survived by his mother, Judith A. Mahan; two daughters, Haily Mahan and Elisa Mahan; one sister, Jill Mahan, two nieces, Misty Goodman and Sasha Mahan; two nephews, D.J. Stennett and Tyler Butler; and a host of family and friends.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
Jeff is now jamming in Heaven for the angels. We love you, your family.
