Jeremiah (Jay) Stephen Jackson, 33 of Willard, MO passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011 in Springfield, MO. He was the first of three sons born to Dennis (Steve) Jackson and Mary Jackson of Willard, MO.
From an early age, Jeremiah loved football and played in the Mighty Mites program; first-sixth grade year. He joined the Willard football team in the seventh grade and played through his senior year of high school. He enjoyed deer hunting from the age of 12 and went nearly every year with his Dad, brother and other family members. Fishing was another sport Jeremiah enjoyed, once with his family in Canada and then at local lakes and rivers with his sons and Granny.
One of the amazing moments in his life was the birth of his son, Zairian Gage Jackson, in September 1999. He married Zairian’s mother, Tina Arlene Adams, on August 5, 2000, adding another son Jackie Lee Ballinger.
Jeremiah’s main profession was commercial painting, with Midwest Coatings, but he was always willing to help others with whatever they needed. Although his life has been shortened, many have been touched by his kind heart and warm smile.
