Jerome “Jerry” L. Kaminshine, age 75, of Springfield, Missouri, and formerly of Cushing, Oklahoma, passed away on November 25, 2023. Jerome “Jerry” L. Kaminshine, age 75, of Springfield, Missouri, and formerly of Cushing, Oklahoma, passed away on November 25, 2023. He was born on July 29, 1948, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Arthur and Rosalie Kaminshine.
He graduated from Putnam City Senior High School in 1966, and graduated from Central State University in 1970 (Oklahoma). He also attended and taught summer classes in color printing and processing at the Winona School of Professional Photography from 1969-1973 (Indiana). He worked for Electronic Systems Engineering Co. (ESECO-Speedmaster) in Cushing, Oklahoma. As Executive Vice President, he had begun in assembly, sales, and installations. He managed production, inventory control, and purchasing when he retired in October 2020, after 54 years with the company.
He married Betty Ann Huchtemann on January 30, 1971, in El Reno, Oklahoma, and celebrated 52 years of marriage before his passing. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Springfield, Missouri, and previously a member at The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Cushing, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Kaminshine and Rosalie Kaminshine. He is survived by his wife Betty Ann Kaminshine; son, Marshall Kaminshine and his wife Adrienne of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; daughter Meredith Kaminshine of Springfield, Missouri; two granddaughters, Peyton Kaminshine and Riley Kaminshine of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; also, extended family and friends.
The visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29, 2023, 1:00-2:00 PM, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM in the chapel. The graveside committal service will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
