He died at 10:50PM, Monday, November 29, 2010 at Ozarks Community Hospital in Springfield.
He was born on July 20, 1940 in Stone County, MO. the son of Mack and Georgia McQueary. He was a graduate of Blue Eye High School. He retired as a blacksmith welder after 35 years of service with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He was a past Master of the Galena Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He was a life long resident of the area.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Reta Rae McQueary of Cape Fair, MO., one daughter, Kelly Knupp and husband Jim of Hollister, MO., one granddaughter, Lennia Knupp of Hollister, Mo. He was preceded in death by his by his parents and two siblings: Gene McQueary and Margie Lord.
