Jerry Lester Canino, moved to Heaven on Resurrection Sunday, March 31, 2013 with his wife and children by his side in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on September 13, 1941 to Ralph and Ramona Canino. He graduated high school and went into the Navy as a ships welder.
His interest was in taking care of his family, buying and selling and putting equipment together. He worked long hours and enjoyed every moment outside. He loved preparing a garden, but the most important thing about Jerry was he was a friend to all and was always giving and caring to all as well. He continually brought people home, clothed them, fed them and got them jobs. He was loved by many.
He is survived by his brothers, Bill, Don and Tom Canino. His wife, Terry Canino, his children, Heather and Jeff Canino, his grandchildren, Joshua Flowers, Garren Canino, Halle Flowers and Dylan Garrison-Canino.
He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who loved him.
Celebration services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 5, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home-East. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri following the service.
