Jerry Max McGehee, 72, made his transition on January 2, 2012, at his home in Dunnegan, MO.
He was born October 12, 1939 to the late Eural “Deacon” M. and Helen C. (Kerr) McGehee, in Christian County.
He was a supervisor in construction work. Jerry served in the U.S. Navy from February 1959 to February 1961 and reserves thru February 1964. Jerry married Marilyn Borgmeyer Clendenning July 15, 1996. Jerry was a Master Craftsman with a unique gift and vision of creating and transforming the ordinary to the EXTRAordinary.
Jerry is survived by his wife Marilyn J. (Borgmeyer) McGehee of the home, one son, Greg Clendenning and wife Jennifer of Billings, MO, three daughters, Sherri Coates, and husband Jim of Republic, MO, Terri Shackleford, Kimberling City, MO and Jessica Clendenning of the Den Haag Netherlands, eight grandchildren: Madison and Chandler Coates, Gregory, Sydney and Jordan Shackleford, and Mackenzie, Samuel, and Jacob Clendenning.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and one infant son.
A Memorial Service for Jerry will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the Unity Spiritual Center, 3233 Kauffman Road, Springfield, Missouri.
