Jerry W. Francka, age 84 of Brighton, MO, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022, on the farm.  He was born March2, 1938, in Brighton, MO, to John Frank and Irene Elizabeth (Cribbs) Francka.  He graduated from Pleasant Hope High School the class of 1956.  He was united in marriage to Joyce Elaine Inglis in 1959.  He served in the Army Reserves for a short time.

          Jerry farmed most of his life in both dairy and beef cattle.  He drove school buses for both Pleasant Hope and Marion C. Early School’s for over 47 years.  He was saved in 1959 and served as a Missionary Baptist Preacher for several years.  He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

          He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 52 years Joyce Elaine Francka; an infant grandson Justin Caleb Francka; his brother Clifford Dale Francka; and a brother in-law Wayne Barlow.

          Jerry is survived by three children: Tammy Davis and husband Rick, Jon Francka and wife Elizabeth, and Shelly Francka all of Brighton, MO; eight grandchildren: Sandy Thompson and husband Joe, Matt Francka and wife Erin, Danielle Emmons and husband Cole, Ally Murray and husband Josh, Martina Francka, Mallory Francka, Hope Francka, Logan Calhoun; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters: Kay Hensley and husband Bob of Bolivar, MO, and Beverly Barlow of Seymour, MO; a sister in-law Linda Francka of Springfield, MO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

          Visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 28, 2022, with Bro.
