Jessie Hale, age 96, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away in Ozark on February 21, 2025. She was born on February 10, 1929, in Washington County, Missouri, to Hugh and Mary Boyer, and later graduated from Potosi High School. She was unit in marriage to John Hale in 1968, St. Louis. She worked as a executive assistant for a law firm, along with doing volunteer work for Springfield Tourism. In her free time, Jessie loved camping in her RV and belonged to several camping clubs.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Hale; parents, Hugh and Mary Boyer; sisters, Marie Brix, Hughetta McClinton, and Galena Wollenson; daughter, Olivia McCauley. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jodie and David Burns, Sara and Denton Mabe, Clayton and Shannon Boyer, Christopher Boyer; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Tyler Martin, Izi Hunter, Michael Sutton, Olivia McCauley, Taylor Boyer, Shelby Boyer; great-great-grandchildren, Ryen Martin and Blake Martin; niece, Roxanne Viviano.
There will be a graveside service for Jessie Thursday, March 6, 2025, 2:00 PM, at Springfield National Veterans Cemetery. All services are being provided by Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
