Jimmy Durham passed away in Magnolia Square on March 11, 2013. Jimmy was born November 6, 1944 in West Plains. Jimmy worked as a tool and die operator as long as he was able to work. He was a member of the Church of Nazarene. Jimmy’s interests were music and he loved to ride motorcycles.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father and mother, William and Agnes Durham, brother, Harold Durham. Jimmy is survived by one son, Jimmy Nelson Durham, six grandchildren, Desiree Durham, Eric Durham, Jeffree Durham, Jennifer Durham, Shianne Durham, and Alexis Durham, three great-grandchildren, Amber Raine, Lillian Durham, Alexandra Durham, four sisters Virginia Bassham and husband Gene, of Springfield, MO, Jo Dean Pursley and husband Charles Vernon, of Tulsa OK, Evelyn Davison and husband Jack, of Neosho, MO, Shirley Martin and husband Jim of Joplin, MO and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at First Church of Nazarene on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation held one hour prior. Memorial contributions can be made to Gideon’s International. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
