James V. Webb passed away on February 17, 2011 at Magnolia Square Nursing Home at the age of 86. He was born in Teresita, MO on June 7, 1924 to the late James and Eudora (Miller) Webb.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Necil and one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include two children, Jim Webb and wife Nina of Connecticut and Judy Webb Spelman and husband Denis of Colorado; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother Roger Webb and wife Lee of Springfield. He also leaves behind his special friends John and Chris Yingling of Springfield.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at The Gardens, 2730 S. Nettleton, Springfield, MO 65807.
Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn South Funeral Home.
