Jim Van Hooser passed away March 6, 2015 in Sonshine Manor of Republic, MO. He was born July 16, 1936 in Springfield, MO, the son of William and Hattie (Dunn) VanHooser.
Jim was a member of College Street Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Hattie and a daughter Candy VanHooser. Jim is survived by his wife Sue Van Hooser, two daughters and their husbands: Sandy and Randy McCafferty and Patty and Brent Hayes, two sons: Jim VanHooser and Adam VanHooser and wife Sheena, a sister Pat Tillman nine grandchildren: Debra Dickinson and husband Scott, Suzi Seely and husband Aaron, Ashly Newlon, Jami VanHooser, Isabella VanHooser, Shaun McCafferty, Dana Hutchinson, Mikayela Robbins, and Tiffany Jemes, five great grandchildren: Alex Fickbohm, Ethan Dickinson, Cooper Seely, Lili Seely and Mabel Seely, as well as many other family members and friends.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Republic, MO, with Rev Rick Copeland Officiating.
