Jimmie Wayne Bolding, 68, of Springfield passed away 5:55 a.m. September 8, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. He was a retired worker for Associated Grocers.
Jimmie was born Oct. 22, 1944 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Barbara Ann Bolding of 38 years.
He is survived by his daughter Kimberley Pilkinton (Phillip Gerhardt), and son Jimmie Wayne Bolding Jr. (Kelli Miller); three grandchildren, Stacy Bolding (Levi Blevins), Tyler Mattix and wife Jeana Mattix, Kasondra Smith and husband Matthew Smith; three great grandchildren, Isaac Urton, Jonathan Smith, Bryson Mattix; and a host of family and friends.
Jimmie loved to fish and go camping and visiting with many friends. He lived his life to the fullest and was always a man of his word.
Memorial Services for Jimmie will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 13, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Inurnment will follow with full military honors at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, Missouri.
