Jimmy Lee Blankenship, age 59, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011. He was born January 31, 1952, in Springfield, Mo., to Thomas and Velma (Alexander) Blankenship.

He is survived by his wife of thirty eight years, Carlene Blankenship, of Springfield; one daughter, Debbie Foreman and husband Russell, of Springfield; one grandson, James Foreman, of Springfield; mother, Velma Lee Blankenship, of Springfield; brother, Jerry Blankenship, of Pleasant Hope; several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and several friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in Robberson Prairie Cemetery.
