Joan Gay Esquibel, age 73, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010. She was born January 29, 1937, in Springfield, Mo., to Alphis and Cloma (Player) Forrester.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Peter Esquibel and Gardner Jones; two sons, Kenneth Vandeweerd and Timmy Vandeweerd; three brothers, Charles Forrester, Robert Forrester and David Forrester; and two sisters, Mary Bernard and Dixie May Forrester.
She is survived by three daughters, Stephanie (Jones) Godsey, Kay (Vandeweerd) Fain, Teresa (Vandeweerd) Rogers, all of Springfield, Mo.; son, Jim Bransetter; two brothers, Guy Forrester and Tony Forrester; two sisters, Penny Luttrell and Cloma Letherman; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
