Joseph Delano Stites, born March 3, 1933, passed away April 5, 2011 fishing on the Current River.
Joseph was preceded in death by many close family members including his beloved wife of over 50 years, Roberta “Bobbie” Stites.
Joe will be missed by his family, son Joseph K. and Carrie Stites, and grandson Barrett Stites; son Tim Stites and grandchildren Lance and Claire Stites; and daughter Tanya Stites and partner Lisa Dralle. He also leaves behind many other dear family and friends.
CWO4 Joseph Stites retired from 1107th AVCRAD. After retirement he enjoyed fishing and many family gatherings at Montauk State Park.
Services reuniting Joseph D. and Roberta L. Stites will be held June 25, 2011.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
