Josephine Euella Morlen went home to be with her Lord on the evening of November 5, 2010. She was at peace, surrounded by family, and at home when Jesus called her to take her place among the angels. Josephine was 82 years young. She was born July 3, 1928, in Fort Scott, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Mae Denny; two sons, Leroy Morlen and Eddie Morlen; and one grandson, Joshua May.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Clint Leroy Morlen, Sr.; three sons, Rick Morlen, Terry Morlen, and Mark Morlen; and two daughters, Rena Smith and Joetta Logan, 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and dear friends.
She was a very special lady! She raised her large family when times were simpler. She attended Hillside Baptist Church faithfully and loved many and was loved by all. She will be greatly missed!
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday also in the funeral home.
