Joyce was one of my mom’s.... I didn’t get to say goodbye. I had no chance to tell her how much she made my life better. She’ll always be with me

I watched Tom’s loving message about his wife on the Covid Memorial site. Through Tom, she is still helping people by emphasizing the importance of taking precautions against the virus. My heart breaks for your loss. I’m truly sorry.

I saw Mrs. Gammon’s obituary in the paper, and realized who she was. I only had a 5 minute conversation with her when I called The Kitchen this year about a late scheduled pickup for donations. That 5 minute conversation made me remember her because she was so genuinely nice and had great customer service. She asked if my family was related to her (my family’s last name is Gammon, too), which I told her I didn’t believe so. They say people remember how you made them feel. Well, it only took a 5 minute call for me to remember her. I am very sorry for the family’s loss.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Tom and family, I worked with Joyce at The Kitchen Inc for a few years. I will always remember going to see her everyday and she would give me candy and I could just sit and talk with her every morning if I got the chance. She was such a wonderful person and was always there to help me smile on rough days. We never got the chance to go have lunch together after I left but I will never forget her contagious smile. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to be her friend and will miss her a lot! Heaven gained a wonderful angel and I hope I'll see her beautiful soul again one day. RIP Joyce, thank you for always being there for me and I will miss you terribly. We all love you ❤️
