Joyce Laverne Cooper (Deeds), age 88 of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025.
Joyce was born to Alfred Lowe and Bessie Cooper Lowe on February 15, 1937 in Hardy, Arkansas.
Joyce moved to Springfield, MO in 1959 and was united in marriage to Robert E. Deeds on January 15, 1966 and was happily married until his passing on February 20, 2020. Joyce was employed at Frito Lay for 7 years, then went to work for zenith in 1967 and retired in 1994.
Joyce was a very strong-willed independent woman and was a huge Elvis enthusiast.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Deeds; her parents Alfred Lowe and Bessie Lowe; and siblings, Linda Shannon and Alice Maxwell.
She is survived by her sister Sharon Gosa; sister in law Brenda Land and many nieces and nephews. Joyce will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
