Judith E. Loven, 89, of Springfield, MO., passed away November 30, 2015. She was born to Gust and Helga Arvidson Anderson on October 17, 1926. Judith was raised on a farm in Kulm, North Dakota. As a young teen Judith accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was committed to daily Bible reading and prayer. She taught in a rural one room schoolhouse for 3 years. Judith was united in marriage to Raymond Loven in Kulm, N.D. on July 21, 1950. They pastored several churches in North Dakota. She was a supportive pastor’s wife and served the church in many capacities. When they moved to Springfield, MO. in 1977, Judith worked in the Benevolence Department at the Assemblies of God Headquarters until she retired. Hospitality was her gift. Over the years she served many tasty meals to family, friends, college students, and missionaries and hosted overnight guests in their home. A variety of jello salads, baked breads, and special meals were enjoyed and requested as favorites. Judith is survived by 3 children: Roger (Bobbi) Loven, Beverly Loven, and Jerry (Lisa) Loven , six grandchildren; Travis, Marcus, Tyler, Jasmyn, Lillia, and Julia Loven. She is also survived by 3 brothers; Eugene (Lucille) Anderson, Arley (Joyce) Anderson, and Joseph (Shirley) Anderson, one sister; June (Lamoine) Beaver, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, infant son, Dennis Ray, parents, and siblings; Ardis, Vincent, and Rose Ella. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. On Friday, December 4, 2015, the Committal Service will be at 9:00am at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, and a Memorial Service at Central Assembly of God at 10:30am. Memorials may be directed to the missions fund at Central Assembly of God.
