Judith Rae Loesel, age 72, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015. She was born November 19, 1942, in Merrill, WI, to Irving and Gwenyth (Roberts) Bork. She was a member of Central Assembly Of God Church and a member of the Ozark’s chapter of the American Christian Writers. She was a writer of children’s books, an artist and a jewelry maker. She was also a very good cook. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she loved to have fun with her grandkids. She had worked for the Assemblies Of God and Springfield Public Schools.
Judith is survived by her daughter LeAnn Barker, and her husband, Tim, two grandchildren, Charity and Joshua Barker, and two brothers, Irving and Reynold Bork.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
