Judy F. (Duncan) Heavin, age 62, of Springfield, MO, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011. She was born July 23, 1949, in Marshall Ar., to Coy and Dorma (Sarratt) Duncan. She was a member of the Kansas Expressway Church of Christ, where she also served as church secretary for many year, and taught Bible Class for many years.
She was preceded in death by one brother Quentin Lee Duncan and a niece Summer Duncan Ewing. She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Heavin, two sons; Kevin Heavin and his wife; Samantha, Paris, Ar. and Andy Heavin and his wife Stephanie, of Sapulpa, Ok. Five grandchildren; Jessa, Micah, Tomas, Nolan, and Eli. She is also survived by her parents; Coy F. Duncan, and Dorma Lea Duncan, of Springfield, two brothers and their wives; Coy Lee Duncan, and Cheryl , Willard, and Gary Duncan, and his wife Brinda of Springfield, she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, with Dennis Smith and Ray Sullins officiating, with burial to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m , at the funeral home.
