Judy Kay Jewell, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2026. She was born on November 8, 1946, to the late Frank and Opal James.
A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Judy dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. She shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Clifton Duane Jewell. Together, they shared a lifetime of cherished memories, especially their trips to Stockton Lake, where Judy loved nothing more than camping by the water and relaxing with a fishing pole in hand.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Opal James; her sisters, Betty Lohar and Mary Ann Strong; her son, Jerry Jewell; and her granddaughter, Kristy.
She leaves behind a rich legacy of love and family. Judy is survived by her devoted husband, Clifton Dwayne Jewell; her daughter, Kanda Valentine of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and a sprawling, blessed family that includes many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
