Julie Ann Gamm, 46, Springfield, MO went to be with her Lord July 8, 2016.
She was born May 9, 1970 in Princeton, IN to Fred A. and Ophelia J. (Crawford) Gamm.
Julie was a loving mother, daughter, “seester” and friend. She was a giving young lady who knew no strangers and would help anyone in need. She would always call home and ask, “Mom, is there enough food,” because she was going to bring a friend in need to a family dinner. While working on her own education, she impressed her teachers so much so that she was hired to tutor other students and there was no doubt when she talked about her day, how much she loved helping others succeed.
Julie had a vibrant personality that lit up any room she walked into. All families have those moments that you lovingly kid each other about. Julie’s moment came when she walked into my work one morning to tell me something was wrong with her car. When I asked her if it was missing, she quickly said “no Mom it’s right outside”. We will also miss the BEST Julie mashed potatoes. Family holidays will never be the same. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten!
She attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Makayla Gamm, her parents, Ophelia and Terry Peach, one brother, Jeffery Allen Gamm, two sisters, April McLaughlin and Jacinda Gamm, one step brother, Darrin Peach and a step sister, Stephnie Measimer, also left to mourn is her fiancé Chuck Maize and son Corey.
She was preceded in death by her father Fred Albert Gamm and her grandparents John and Dorothy Crawford.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, July, 14, 2016 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with services following at 11:00 AM with Pastor Chad Grayson officiating.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield, MO.
