Julie Jon White, age 81 of Springfield, Missouri passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, December 23, 2021, after battling an illness.
She was born on July 31st, 1940, in Independence, Missouri. Her parents Ed and Lora Lee Harding preceded her in death, along with her brother Ed Joe Harding.
She is survived by her husband Dan White. Two sons, Jim Barnes and Jon White (Keesha White). Three sisters, Francis Lee Ellis, Linda Perez and Mary Ann Ross. One brother, Greg Harding. Three grandchildren, AJ Barnes, Jordan Barnes and Tori Jurczyk. Three great grandchildren, Xenia Barnes, Azalea Barnes, Liam Jurczyk and a host of nieces and nephews.
Julie spent most of her life in Springfield, Missouri where she was an extremely talented and gifted artist, known all over the world for her 30 best-selling craft and woodworking books, called The Country Club, Julie’s Whitehouse Originals that could be found in stores, such as, Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Her books sold not only in the US but Canada, Japan, Europe and Brazil to name a few. When Julie wasn’t designing crafts, her favorite thing to do was spend time with the love of her life of almost 55 years, Dan White. They enjoyed the white sandy beaches of Destin, Florida and taking a cruise. Julie’s family and friends will remember her as a unique, one-of-a-kind lady with a huge heart that always made time for everyone. She left such an amazing impression on her family, friends and business partners from all over the world that will never be forgotten.
Julie will be loved and remembered forever!
