Justin Lee McKee, born on October 28, 1997, in Springfield, Missouri, to Lori (Callison) Martin and Jason McKee, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, in Willard, Missouri. He was 27 years old. Justin will be deeply missed by his loving family.
Throughout his life, Justin was known for his caring and considerate nature. A true music lover, he had a special fondness for the timeless melodies of Patsy Cline and the smooth sounds of Mandy Barnett. Justin often found joy in sharing his favorite songs with others, creating memorable moments filled with laughter and warmth.
An automobile enthusiast, he was a walking encyclopedia of car knowledge. Justin’s passion for vehicles ignited many spirited conversations, and he often amazed friends and family alike with his insights into the world of cars.
In addition to his love for music and cars, Justin also had a flair for cooking. He enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen, seeking out new recipes that would tantalize the taste buds of those he cared for.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Larry and Linda McKee, and maternal grandparents Phillip and Beverly Callison, as well as aunts, Kim Erickson and Angie Wakefield; and uncles Wayne Selby, Steve McKee and Rusty McKee.
Justin is survived by his mother and stepfather Lori and Thomas Martin, his father, Jason McKee, two step-brothers, Kane Martin and Cole and Kayla Martin; his niece Laramie Martin; grandparents Kenneth and Jeanne Selby; step-grandmother Beverly Michaels; step-grandfather Gary and Naomi Martin and aunts and uncles Susan and Darren DeVore, David and Taylor Selby, Dee Brown, Gary Goodall, Charity and Arlis Hester, and Larry and Marianne McKee; his special great aunt, Debi Deckard; and his special cousins Emily and Edgar Ramirez.
To honor Justin’s life, there will be a visitation at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on May 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Afterward, Justin will be cremated.
In this time of grief, let us remember Justin for who he was: a kind-hearted soul with a zest for life, a passion for music and cars, and a love for sharing his culinary creations. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be held dear.
