Karen Ann Trapp, age 60, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Cox Medical Center South. She was born September 2, 1950, in West Plains, MO, to Earl and Earlene (Shetrone) Hatfield.
She loved to play the piano and sing, devoted a lot of her time to her church family, made a variety of crafts, and did scrapbooking. She also loved to spoil her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Earlene Shetrone Hatfield; and a daughter, Kara Lea on February 14, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Eric, two grandsons, Bradley and Brandon, son-in-law, Corey; her dad, Earl Hatfield; and a brother, Tom Hatfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. in Faith Outreach Church, Thursday, December 30, 2010. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, from 5-7 P.M. in Greenlawn North.
Memorial donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
