Karnelius Roscoe Ghan, 94 years of age, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015. He was born in Springfield, MO. on July 30, 1921 to James Jefferson Ghan and Maggie May Gilmore Ghan. Roscoe married Elsie Marie Long on November 10, 1940. Roscoe and Elsie were married 60 years. To this union 6 children were born. Five sons; Jerry, Jerald, Jim, Ron, Junior, and 1 daughter; Janice. Roscoe received Jesus Christ as his Savior during his adult life. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Elsie, and 2 sons, Jerry and Junior. He is survived by 3 sons; Jerald and wife Lorraine Ghan, Marionville, MO., Jim and Beverly Ghan, Warsaw, MO., Ron and Connie Ghan, Springfield, MO., and 1 daughter; Janice and John Damico, Everton MO. Roscoe is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2015, 6:00-8:00pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral service will be Friday, November 20, 2015, 11:00am, also at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
