Katherine Jean Oyerly-Jeffries, age 69 of Humansville, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at University Hospital Columbia, MO.  She was born April 28, 1952, in Saginaw, MI, to George Archie and Wilma Jean (Meighen) Oyerly who precede her in death.  She received her BSN from Southwest Baptist University Bolivar, MO.  She was united in marriage to Robert Jeffries August 25, 1990.  She is a member of Bolivar Seventh Day Adventist Church.

          Katherine loved nursing and teaching C.N.A. classes.  She was the pianist at church and was a lover of good music.  Taking care of people was in her DNA.  Katherine enjoyed working at the food pantry at Community Outreach Ministries in Bolivar. She loved the Lord, her children, and her church family.

           She is survived by her husband of 31 years Robert of the home; one son Steve Jeffries of Mt. Vernon, MO; three daughters: Angie Segovia of Blue Springs, MO, Cassie Jeffries of Webb City, MO, and Alex Jeffries of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren; one brother John Dengler and his wife Sharie of Johnson City, TN; five sisters: Bonnie Pickens of Neosho, MO, Katie Mello of Louisville, KY, Mollie Schmoling of Tampa Bay, FL, Tina Parchmont and her husband Brian of Nederland, TX, and Anne Oyerly of Berrien Springs, MI; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family, and friends.

          Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Pitts Chapel, with services to follow at 2:00 pm.  Burial will follow services at Mt.
