Kelly Lynn Meyer, 49, Springfield, MO. passed away on November 19, 2021. She was born in Springfield, MO. on April 13, 1972, to Daniel and Beverly (Gaylor) Franklin. A Springfield resident all of her life, Kelly was an office assistant for a roofing company, and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Kelly loved being in the outdoors, kayaking, and other outdoor sports. She was a huge Kansas City Chiefs football fan, even having a Chiefs memorabilia collection, She loved going to Chiefs games and tailgating. She also loved concerts, especially The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and loved working out.
Kelly was preceded in death by her two year old daughter, Katlyn, in 1993 and by her father, Daniel Thomas Franklin. She is survived by her daughter, Eden Meyer, her mother: Beverly Franklin, her sister: Shawnda (Franklin) Price and her brother: Scott Franklin.
Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 with Memorial Services at 4:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

I went to school with Kelly all through elementary and high school. I remember going to her house on numerous occasions just to hang out or walk around the neighborhood. I haven't seen her in person since High School but I always looked forward to hearing of her adventures on Facebook and teasing her about her love of the Chiefs. It breaks my heart to learn of her passing. I live out of state and will not be able to attend her service but I want all her friends and family to know they are in my thoughts and prayers. Kelly was a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed.
