Kenneth Howard Hunt age 88 of Harrison, Arkansas died on September 27, 2021 at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri.
He was born on August 20, 1933 near Forsyth, Missouri the son of Ray Otto and Eva Bigelow Hunt. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1961. He had lived in the Kansas City area for many years and had worked at various jobs before he and his wife moved to the Harrison, Arkansas area to retire and to live the rest of their lives. Kenneth was saved at the age of 14 and was a member of the Union Road Assembly of God Church in Harrison, Arkansas. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in California.
He is survived by a son: Rick Hunt and wife Lisa of Lead Hill, Arkansas. Two brothers; Stan Hunt of Lead Hill, Arkansas and Dennis Hunt of Bergman, Arkansas. Two sisters; Helen Listerman of Springfield, Missouri and Patsy Wells of Bergman, Arkansas. He is also survived by a grandson, Ricky Hunt and three great grandchildren, Dylan Hunt, Jadyn Hunt and Tyler Coleman. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lee (Kampe) Hunt, two sons, Kenneth Lee Hunt and David Hunt. A grandson, Kenny Hunt and a granddaughter Lisa, three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until Noon on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Dickens Cemetery in Taneyville, Missouri with full military honors.
