Kenneth Mitchel Rosebrough was blessed to be able to join his loved ones in heaven on November 21, 2018. Ken was born in Enid, Ok. He was 63 years young and resided in Nixa, MO.
Ken was preceded in death by his first wife Deborah Kathryn Lord Rosebrough whom Ken had the honor of being married to for 31 years and his parents Walter M Rosebrough and Mary Lou Allman Rosebrough, father-in-law Bill Lord and mother-in-law Gracy Mae Patterson Carpenter.
Ken leaves behind his wife of 6 years Brenda Kay Carpenter Ford Rosebrough, son Jonathan Rosebrough (wife Alicia), daughter Rachel Rosebrough Springer (husband Ryan), step-daughter Shawna Ford Feldman (husband Jered) and step-son Matthew Ford (wife Jennifer). Ken’s mother-in-law Marilyn Lord and father-in-law Ray Carpenter. Ken also has six siblings: Walter M Rosebrough Jr. (wife Carol), Timothy Rosebrough (wife Sheryl), Henry (Hank) Rosebrough (wife Linda), Paul Rosebrough, Cynthia Rosebrough Carroll (husband Darin) and Claravon Rosebrough Mathews (husband Pat) as well as brother-in-law Sidney Carpenter (wife Jeanne) and sister-in-law Rhonda Carpenter Jackson Gordon (husband Kent), brother-in-law Billy Lord (Sherry) and sister-in-law Cindy Lord. Earl (Frenchie, Old Man) French (wife Pat) whom Ken was like a son to. Ken also has many many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. Ken was going to have his first grandchild this coming May. We will all miss him dearly.
Ken’s career started early in life working in his dad’s print shop. He worked as a printer until January 2013. He was a very talented man. He built his home back in the 1980’s. He was a jack of all trades and a master of some. He loved wood working, leather projects, hunting, photography, working in the yard but mostly he loved family.
There will be a visitation at Greenlawn East Funeral Home on November 26, 2018. Starting at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. At 7:00 pm there will be a short time of reflection and celebration of his life. Ken is a member of Parkview Christian Church. Our preacher Brad Smith will help us with the short celebration of life service.
