Kenneth Ray Scrivner, 78, Nixa, MO. passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 in his home. He was born in Everton, Arkansas to Earlie and Marie Scrivner. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Sue; son Alan Scrivner and wife Muerita; daughter Karen (Scrivner) Estes and husband Greg; grand-children Kade and Stacie Scrivner, Kami and Marc Eddington, Cole and Amber Estes, Kyle and Hollie Estes; great- grandchildren, Kaylee, Karlie, Elli, Lilly and Eli; his brother Doy Scrivner and wife Cheryl; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Earlie and Marie Scrivner and sister Carolyn Hoppis.
Kenneth and Sue were life time members at Fremont Baptist Church and also attended Finley River Cowboy Church. Kenneth enjoyed riding horses in his spare time with friends and spent many hours trail riding at Busiek State Park. He also loved spending time with all his grand kids and great-grand kids. He was a man that loved animals especially his dog, Bono.
Services for Kenneth will be Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
