Kevin Lee Hurd, 63, of Springfield, gained his angel wings on February 21, 2021 after a brief and sudden illness.  Kevin was born October 20, 1957 in St. Charles, Missouri to John Edgar Hurd and Natalie Wynez Rohlfing Hurd. i am friends with kevins sister,regena maples and met kevin, along with the brothers and their respective families at ian and megans wedding in ohio a few years ago. kevin was, as i recall, just a friendly ,welcoming person and gena just felt so comfortable talking with him,as did I. i noticed his sense of humor right away and gena always looked forward to visiting him on the phone and in person whenever possible. i am very sad to hear of his untimely passing. sincere condolences.
