Kevin Ray Cutbirth, 44, passed away July 9th, 2021 at his home in Springfield, MO after a long battle with brain cancer. His service will be held Saturday, July 17th 2021 at 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home South in Springfield, MO. A celebration of life get together will be scheduled for a later time.
Kevin was born on July 29, 1976 in Springfield Mo to Esther Schnake and Finis Neal Cutbirth. He spent his younger years in Elsey, MO near his grandparents’ farm and attended church at Elsey 1st Baptist. He moved to Sparta in his teenage years, where he attended school and graduated from Sparta High School. After graduating, Kevin moved to Springfield, MO and began his adult journey in life. He enjoyed many hobbies from his love of all types of music, cooking, gardening, Star Wars, cosplay, martial arts, and exploring the breweries.
Kevin will be remembered most for his loving ways, companionship, his willingness to help anyone, his ability to bond with every child that crossed his path, his sense of humor, and love for life. His influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father Finis Neal Cutbirth, stepfather William Rysted, grandparents Lee and Beulah Chase, grandparents Finis and Rose Cutbirth, and many aunts and uncles.
Kevin’s life will forever be cherished in the lives of everyone that knew him. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Esther and Wayne Schnake of Stotts City, MO, his sister and husband Jesse and Julia Keener of Crane, MO, his brother and wife Rodney and Laura of Branson, MO, his girlfriend and children Michelle Meakins, Lucas, Elias, and Adelynn of the home in Springfield, MO, his nieces Brandie Keithley of Clever, MO, Tiffany Keithley of Clever, MO and Amanda and Dylan Cope of Cassville, MO, nephew Matthew Froemming of Branson, MO and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
