Kim Pierce, 56, of Springfield, left this life to meet our Lord, Savior and Creator on June 25, 2013, at Mercy Hospital. Kim was born to Billee and Willard Pierce on July 14, 1956, in Springfield, Missouri.

Kim graduated from Willard High School. He married Christina McKnight on July 13, 2000, in Springfield, Missouri. Kim was of the Nazarene faith. He was employed with Greene County for twenty-seven years, as a night building operations supervisor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching N.A.S.C.A.R.; he was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Billee Pierce. Kim is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Christina Pierce of Springfield; his father, Willard F. Pierce, Jr. of Springfield; daughter, Crystal Pierce of Springfield; daughter, Rachel Pierce of Chico, CA; son, Shawn Pierce of Chico, CA; daughter, Cheyanne Pierce of Springfield; son, Shawn McKnight and his wife Brandey of Springfield; son, Tobias McKnight of Springfield; brother, Rick Pierce and his wife Connie of Broken Arrow, OK; sister, Pam Pierce of Springfield; nine grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., on Saturday in the funeral home.
