Kimberley Evelyn Hart, 63, Willard, MO. passed away in her home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, with her loving family around her, after a long illness. Kimberley was born on February 8, 1958, in Columbus, Kansas, to James Samuel and Audrey Elaine (Golden) Crutcher.

She had a calling in her life to work in education and pursued a bachelor’s degree from M.S.U, graduating Magna Cum Laude and then furthered her education by receiving her Masters degree in Education from M.S.U. She devoted her career to creating engaging relationships with her elementary students in Bolivar, MO and Bowerman Elementary School in Springfield, MO.

Kim loved her life and she loved spending time with her family and especially loved her role as Grammy. She was a friend to everyone she met and was known for her contagious laugh. She loved planting flowers, going on hikes with her family and friends, and going over the top to make every holiday special. She also loved being near water. Whether it be the lake, the river, or the pool many of her favorite times were spent by the water.

Kim’s strong faith in her savior, Jesus Christ, carried her throughout her life which served as an influence and inspiration for family and friends. She was the perfect example of Jesus’ commandment in Matthew 22: 37-39. Her love for her family and friends was only surpassed by her love for the Lord. This was clearly evident in the many ways she served the church throughout her life.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, James; three sons: Aaron Hart and his wife, Kristi, Justin Hart and his wife, Sarah, and Tyler Hart and his wife Kayla; eight grandchildren: Abe, Viv, Trysten, Grayson, Remington, Marion, Mason and Eliza; and one brother: Greg Crutcher.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Wade Chapel cemetery, near Republic, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

Memorial donations may be made in Kimberley’s memory to The American Cancer Society.

Deepest sympathy to the family and her friends.

Kim you will be missed so much and are so happy that you are with our Lord and Savior. Prayer for comfort and peace for James and all her children, grandkids, her brother and all her many friends.

Kim was a Beautiful Lady with a Loving Heart - Her Mother - Audrey - was my first cousin - and will always remember the many stories her mother shared about the family - Kim was a wonderful caretaker to her parents. May the family look to the Lord for Strength - during this difficult time.

I was privileged to teach in the reading room next to Kim at Bowerman for several years. She was always ready to help, had a smile on her face, and loved her students. Her family was always foremost in her mind and she especially loved to share about her sons and grandkids. She was a wonderful person. Praying God's comfort on her precious family.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Kim was one of the sweetest people I've ever known. We had such fun sharing rides to MSU while we both worked on our degrees in education, and we spent a lot of good times together at Northside Christian Church. I could always count on seeing her beautiful smile and hearing her positive and uplifting comments. My son and Justin were good friends as preschoolers and first and second graders before we moved away for 2 years. I always knew I could trust Kim to take good care of Jason when he went to play with her boys. Even though we hadn't gotten together for many years, I will feel a void at her loss. I know, though, that the angels are rejoicing that she has arrived back home.

My heart is filled with sadness for Kim's family. She may never have known how much I looked up to her growing up. She has a beautiful smile and always had so much warmth in helping others feel happy. I know she is in Heaven and is always here on out memories.

So sorry to hear of Kim's passing. I taught with Kim in 5th grade in Bolivar for a couple of years. Remember her as a great teacher whose students were very important to her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

To Kim's family and friends, I was privileged to work with and get to know Kim at Bowerman Elementary, where I served as a substitute teacher. She inspired me not only in teaching, but also as a friend and sister in Christ. Please know that my prayers and thoughts will be with you as you travel this valley. May God's strength and comfort be yours.

My sincere condolences to James & the rest of Kim's sweet family. We taught together in Bolivar & enjoyed many wonderful memories. I'm thankful that I will see her again, but today my heart is broken. Playing for God's comfort.

Kim was my sister. Her optimism and kindness touched so many. Through her illness, she never complained and she often put others needs before her own. I'm heartbroken at her loss and already miss her terribly.

Heartfelt condolences for so many of Kim’s family and friends. Kim always had a smile and a positive attitude throughout her life, especially during her long, difficult cancer journey. She never wanted to dwell on the difficulties she experienced. She will be greatly missed by many.

My condolences for the loss of Kim (Kimmie is how I remember her). We were kids together in Ft. Scott and our parents were friends. Kimmie was one of my favorite friends. I’m so sorry to hear this news. My thoughts are with all the family.
