Kolton Laine Shook, 25 of Marshfield, MO formerly of Caldwell, ID, died Friday, August 19, 2016, in a tragic automobile accident.
Kolton is the son of Richard Shook of Jerome, ID, and Kim and Larry Rogers of Strafford, Mo; He is the brother of Karlee Ann Shook and Kamron Lee Shook and his fiancee Katy Kester. He also has three step-brothers, Adam and his family, Phillip and his family and PD and his family; his grandparents, Malcom and Ruth Sayre and Garlene Glick; three aunts, Tammy, Terri and Connie.
Kolton was born Sept. 8, 1990 in Jerome, ID where he loved hunting and fishing with his brother, and giving his sister a hard time, yet, protecting her with his loving arms. He grew up proud of his Indian heritage that taught him the love of his family and fellow man. Idaho is where he met the love of his life, Katy. Together they moved to Missouri. He lived to ride, hunt, fish and work, as well as golfing with his grandparents.
Kolton started work at PCI Construction, moving up to Foreman and proud to be a part of Union Carpenter Local 978.
Kolton always had a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. He will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service for Kolton will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. prior to services.
